What’s new.

Every version of Kiyume, and what changed in it, in plain words. Updates arrive through TestFlight during the beta.

Hello, Kiyume

The first public beta: a calm place to read manga, manhwa and webtoons on iPhone and iPad. Everything below already works — what it still needs is readers telling me what doesn’t.

New
  • A reader made for manga: right to left like the original, left to right for comics, and one long strip for webtoons.
  • Kiyume remembers your page, and how you like to read each series.
  • Two pages side by side on iPad, like a printed volume.
  • A library with your own lists, favourites and a count of what’s left to read.
  • Download chapters to read offline.
  • A notification when a series you follow has a new chapter, and a calendar of releases.
  • Sync your library, lists and progress between iPhone and iPad with iCloud, or keep a backup file.
  • Link AniList or MyAnimeList, and your lists update as you read.
  • Your profile: day streak, reading stats and your Manga DNA.
  • Read the comics already on your iPhone, or connect your own collection.
  • Incognito mode, and a Face ID lock that also covers the screen when you switch apps.
  • Available in English, Italian, German, Spanish, French and Simplified Chinese.

Now on Mac

Kiyume for Mac is in the public beta too, with your library, lists and progress synced from your iPhone and iPad.
